This is Nerlynx. It helps treat certain types of breast cancer. It is used after people have already received a specific chemotherapy treatment.  

This medicine is usually taken once a day with food. Make sure to swallow the tablet whole, and do not crush or chew it. Take this medication at the same time each day. You should take it exactly as your doctor tells you to. It is important not to miss any doses. 

Most people taking Nerlynx will have side effects. Common side effects include diarrhea, stomach discomfort and feeling tired. When starting Nerlynx, your doctor may recommend another medicine to help with diarrhea. If these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking this medicine, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist. You should not stop taking it, unless your doctor says it's okay.

As with any medicine, rare but serious side effects could occur. With Nerlynx, these include severe liver damage, dehydration, and kidney issues. To help keep this medicine safe for you, your doctor will follow your condition closely and will order blood tests. 

Nerlynx can harm unborn babies. Women should not breastfeed or become pregnant when taking this medicine. Women must talk to their doctors about which birth control methods to use and for how long.
