This is Ciclopirox gel. It helps to treat certain skin conditions that can be caused by fungal infections. It may have other uses, too.  

Ciclopirox is applied topically to the affected area of skin. It is usually applied two times each day after washing the affected area. You should use it exactly as your doctor tells you to. Most people tolerate this medicine well. The most common side effect is skin irritation. This can include burning, stinging, and itching. This is normal if it is mild and should go away. If these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking this medicine, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist.  

As with any medicine, rare but serious side effects could occur. You should read the Patient Information Sheet to know which symptoms to watch for and when to report changes. 

Women should check with their doctors before becoming pregnant and before breastfeeding.

Ciclopirox can interact with other medicines. You should always check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking or using other medicines.
