Let's take a minute to talk about your medication.   This is Brovana. It helps keep the symptoms of COPD under control. Brovana is taken as a breathing treatment. Each dose comes in a ready-to-use vial that is placed into a nebulizer machine. This allows it to be breathed into the lungs. It is often taken twice a day, about 12 hours apart. You should take it exactly as your doctor tells you to. Read the instructions for use, so you are comfortable using this medicine. Brovana does not treat sudden symptoms of COPD. You should always have a rescue inhaler to treat sudden symptoms. Most people tolerate this medicine well. As with any medicine, rare but serious side effects could occur. With Brovana, this includes a risk of serious breathing issues.
