This is diphenoxylate and atropine. It is used to help treat diarrhea. You should take it exactly as your doctor tells you too.  Taking too much of this medicine can increase the risk of side effects.

This medicine is usually tolerated well but some side effects can occur, including nausea, dizziness and drowsiness.  You should know how this medicine affects you before doing activities that require you to be alert, like driving.  If these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking this medicine, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Diphenoxylate and atropine can interact with other medicines. You should always check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking any other medicines. Also, do not drink alcohol.

Women should talk to their doctors before becoming pregnant or breastfeeding while taking this medicine.
