This is Viibryd, and it helps treat depression. It may have other uses, too. It could take several weeks for Viibryd to start working.

Viibryd is taken once daily with food. You should take it exactly as your doctor tells you to. 

Most people tolerate this medicine well. At first, you could have a headache, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. You could also feel drowsy or dizzy. So, wait until you know how it affects you before doing activities that require you to be alert, like driving. It could also cause problems sleeping. If so, taking your dose when you first wake up may help. Sometimes, medicines for depression may cause an occasional sexual problem. These effects are normal if they are mild, and should go away. If these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking this medication, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist. But, do not stop taking it suddenly, unless your doctor tells you to.

It is important to know that medicines that treat depression can cause possible thoughts of suicide. It is important to watch for these changes, especially in children and young adults. Get medical help right away if you notice troublesome behaviors, thoughts or actions. 

Drug interactions can occur. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking other medicines. Also, you should avoid drinking alcohol. 

Women must talk to their doctors before becoming pregnant or breastfeeding while taking this medicine.
