This medicine helps treat tumors in the stomach, pancreas, or other areas. It can also treat cancer of the kidney. Many patients will have side effects. You could feel weak or tired. So, wait until you know how it affects you before you do activities that require you to be alert, like driving. This medicine could make your skin look yellow or change your hair color. It can also cause an upset stomach, loss of appetite, headache or changes in taste. Some people get dry skin, blisters or aches and pains. The good news is most side effects aren't serious. You should still report them to your doctor promptly. As with any medicine, serious side effects can occur. These may include problems with bleeding, or with your heart, hormones or jaw bone. To help keep this medicine safe for you, your doctor will order blood tests, check your blood pressure, examine your jaw and follow you closely.
