These are normal if they are mild and should go away. You should be aware that hair loss could occur. You should tell your doctor about side effects. He or she will help manage them. Perjeta can lower your ability to fight infections. Your doctor will order blood tests to watch for this. To help keep this medicine safe for you, your doctor will follow your condition closely. It is important to know that Perjeta could cause heart problems. You should call your doctor right away if you have dizziness, a cough, shortness of breath or if your heart beats fast or flutters. Also, call if you have swelling in your ankles or legs, or if you gain 5 pounds or more in 24 hours. Perjeta can harm unborn babies.
