This is Olysio. Olysio helps treat Hepatitis C infection. 

Your doctor will also prescribe other medicines for Hepatitis C. You must take each of these medicines exactly as directed. You should take your dose with food. Also, you should swallow the capsules whole. 

It is normal to have some side effects. You could have nausea or itching. These are normal if they are mild, and should go away. If these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking Olysio, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist. 

Your skin could have reactions to sunlight. You should protect yourself by limiting sunlight exposure. Other ways to protect your skin include wearing sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and protective clothing. Also, you should avoid tanning beds and sunlamps. 

Olysio may react with other medicines. This can affect the way Olysio works, or may cause side effects. Please tell your doctor and pharmacist about all of the medicines, vitamins and herbal remedies you take or plan to take. 

Olysio, when taken with other medicines for Hepatitis C, is not safe for unborn babies. Women AND men who take Olysio must use extreme care to avoid pregnancy. It's important for women and men to talk to their doctors to learn which birth control methods to use and for how long. 

As with any medicine, more serious side effects could occur. You should let your doctor know right away if you notice any unusual changes to your body, like a rash. To help keep this medicine safe for you, your doctor will follow you closely.
