Let's take a minute to talk about your medication. This is Namenda, and it can be taken with or without food. Namenda may help treat the symptoms of dementia or Alzheimers disease. In some patients, it can help with mental function and doing daily tasks. Namenda is usually very well tolerated. At first, some patients may get mild headaches, dizziness, or constipation. These are normal and should go away. But, if these or other effects become reasons you want to stop taking Namenda please talk to your doctor or pharmacist. For best results, continue taking Namenda, and consider asking a friend or family member to help determine how it is working for you.
