Still, you should wait until you know how it affects you, or your child, before doing things like driving or riding a bike. Common side effects include nausea, dry mouth, a loss of appetite and weight loss. Other effects include trouble sleeping, anxiety and irritability. These effects are normal if they are mild. If these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking this medicine, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Children will have their growth monitored to make sure it does not slow down. As with any medicine, rare but more serious side effects could occur.
