Let's take a minute to talk about your medication.  

This is methylprednisolone, and it's important to take it exactly as prescribed.   

Methylprednisolone is a corticosteroid that treats many conditions by reducing swelling and inflammation.  

It's usually well-tolerated, but some side effects can occur. You could have a mild headache, dizziness, trouble sleeping, or feel restless. You could also have an upset stomach. If this happens, taking your doses with food or milk can help. If these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking this medication, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist.  

In rare cases, serious side effects can occur, so call your doctor right away if you notice any unusual changes to your body, like severe mood swings or blurry vision.  

This medication can affect blood sugar levels or blood pressure. So, if you are a diabetic or have high blood pressure, you should report any concerning changes to your doctor.  

For best results, take it as prescribed and don't skip doses.
