You can take it with or without food. You should not miss doses or run out of this medicine. If you do, the virus could increase and become harder to treat. Some side effects can occur. Your doctor will help you manage them. You could have a headache, diarrhea, nausea, or problems sleeping. You could feel a little tired or dizzy. You should wait until you know how it affects you before you do activities that require you to be alert, like driving. These effects are normal if they are mild and should go away. You should tell your doctor if you have a fever or rash, or if you feel depressed. If these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking Epzicom, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist. As with any medicine, serious side effects could occur. You should read the 'Medication Guide' for full information. Epzicom can cause serious allergic reactions. You must get medical help right away if you have symptoms of an allergic reaction. Your pharmacist will give you a wallet card that lists the symptoms. Carry this warning card with you at all times. If you have hepatitis B infection, it can get worse if you stop taking this medicine. Do not stop taking Epzicom unless your doctor says it's okay. Epzicom can interact with other medicines. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking other medicines, herbal remedies or vitamins. Women must talk to their doctors before becoming pregnant and should not breastfeed.
