Let's take a minute to talk about your medication.  

This is cyclobenzaprine.  

Cyclobenzaprine helps to relax muscle spasms and relieve the pain they cause. It is usually combined with rest and other treatments, like physical therapy.  

At first, some side effects could occur, like drowsiness or dizziness. So, don't do activities that require you to be alert, like driving, until you know how it affects you. Alcohol can make this worse and it should be avoided while taking cyclobenzaprine. You may also notice that you get a dry mouth while taking this medication.  This is normal and should go away. But, if these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking this medication, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist.   

Also, to reduce the risk of side effects and drug interactions, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist all of the medications you take.   

For best results, take cyclobenzaprine as directed , and follow your doctor's advice for rest and other activities that may relieve your spasms.
