This is Trintellix. It is used to help treat certain types of depression. It may have other uses, too.

Trintellix is often taken one time a day, at the same time each day. You should take it exactly how your doctor tells you to. You can take each dose with or without food. 

Most people tolerate this medicine well. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, and constipation. These effects are normal if they are mild and should go away. If these or other side effects become reasons you want to stop taking this medication, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Trintellix can take several weeks to start working. You should not suddenly stop taking this medicine, unless your doctor says it's ok.

As with any medicine, rare but more serious side effects could occur. With Trintellix, this can include changes in mood, behaviors, and thoughts. You should know that if thoughts of suicide, or worsening mood or behavior ever occur, you should get help right away. Other rare side effects can occur. Trintellix can interact with other medicines. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking any other medicines, even if they do not require a prescription.

Women should talk to their doctors before becoming pregnant or breastfeeding.

For best results with Trintellix, tell your doctor if your condition does not improve or if it gets worse instead of better.
